Joana Antunes
Born in Portugal and now based in Devon, UK, Joana creates original oil paintings inspired by the natural world, from landscapes and still lifes to portraiture.
Her love of painting began early, inspired by her father's work painting traditional Portuguese tiles, an influence that shaped her appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and storytelling.
Working primarily in oils, her paintings reflect an appreciation for the beauty found in everyday moments, natural forms, and changing light.
